This is a very ingenious A4 book cover, with an extra partial flap at the front, enhancing the classic Egyptian Lotus flower. the flap is held with leather thonging, which could be substituted for string or a lace.
The cover is extremely easy to make, the flap is optional and could be left off.

We have used wool tweed to make our book cover, which you could substitute for most other suitable fabrics.

The book cover is a stylish addition to your own desk but is wonderful given, as a gift as it looks classic, requires little fabric and is fairly quick to make.
