Subscribe here to this amazing seven part block of the month programme. The large blocks are cut predominantly from top quality British Wool Tweed.
When you subscribe we will prepare all your blocks and put them away safely for you. Each time you order, choose the same option as today, writing in the comments section which block you are up to, so we know which to send from your reserved stash. The instructions for each block are included in each instalment, so you don't need to buy the pattern book unless you choose to have all the instructions in one place.
Approx, 40" square of piecing plus borders in month seven bringing the quilt up to approx 48" square.
Designed by Michaela Smith as a Christmas quilt, this richly decorated patchwork quilt is not only perfect for Christmas but for all year round as there are no direct references to Christmas itself. The trees and shrubs are holly, ivy, mistletoe and pine but these do grow all year round too.
Simple piecing enhances the woodland appliqué, the quilt can be achieved with a basic skill level; it easy to simplify anything which outfaces you and further embellish should you want to take the quilt beyond ours.
It is really important to me that you can get as much value as possible from each design we come up with, so feel free to break the elements of the quilt down and use them in other ways is our little gift to you.
Please note we reserve the right to alter fabrics if needs be but would never compromise the integrity of the quilt, as your blocks are all cut at the beginning any colour alterations will carry through the whole quilt so won't look out of place.
