A Winter's Tail, Christmas Quilt by Michaela Smith.

Approx, 40" square plus optional borders.
Designed by Michaela Smith as a Christmas quilt, this richly decorated patchwork quilt is not only perfect for Christmas but for all year round as there are no direct references to Christmas itself. The trees and shrubs are holly, ivy, mistletoe and pine but these do grow all year round too.

Simple piecing enhances the woodland appliqué, the quilt can be achieved with a basic skill level; it is easy to simplify anything which outfaces you and further embellish should you want to take the quilt beyond ours.

It is really important to me that you can get as much value as possible from each design we come up with, so feel free to break the elements of the quilt down and use them in other ways is our little gift to you.

Our booklets consist of A3 unstapled pages, so that you can spread them out for ease of tracing the applique designs and any pattern pieces.
We predominantly use British Wool Tweed in our designs however you could use most other suitable fabrics too.
