This simple sewing pattern includes two appliqué bees designs, a daisy flower and several sentiments (wording) choose which sentiment suits your mood and compose your own design. Also available as a bee appliqué pack so that you can make two tweed bees like ours and add them to any project you choose. The appliqué motifs work well stitched to a bag that you have either made or purchased such as a bag for life.
The bees would look great as wall hangings or even better stretched over a canvas frame. We have used a fat quarter of British Wool Tweed woven by Abraham Moon for our cushions but you could use any other fabric you wanted to.
As patchworkers and crafters we often look for a quick and easy project as an infill between other larger projects and this one would be perfect for that. Also being a quick project these cushions are ideal as gifts particularly for people who don't always understand the amount of hours that goes into larger projects...that makes our beautiful bee cushions a win win!
