As you all know, my heart belongs to the Yorkshire Dales. Quite simply this short collection shares with you some of my favourite places.

The designs will mix and match between the projects, so you can pick and choose, simply put, it’s up to you, how you translate these beautiful images, gorgeously illustrated by Sue Lenehan. Additionally, the designs are easy to tweak and alter to resemble your own favourite countryside space.

Bolton Abbey Cushion, set on the bank of the river Wharf at Bolton Abbey is where I spent many many happy hours, both as a child and with my children. It is a magnificent place and the ruins of the abbey are amazing.

Village Life cushion, initially began as a scene from my own village but ended up looking like the location of Helen’s family farm from All Creatures Great and Small. Yes it really doe look like this in the dales.

Ye Olde Naked Man Cafe Tote Bag, actually exists, you’ll find it in the market place of my hometown, Settle. They bake on site, everything is fresh and delicious. Yum yum!

The Bronte parsonage, Howarth Wall Hanging, I don’t think this one needs much introduction, it is well recognised globally. Not quite in the dales, Howarth has a personality all of its own and we will claim it by virtue of it being in our glorious county.

The Three Peaks landscape, we decorated the flap on a bag, you could put the design on a cushion or different style of bag, tweak the design to resemble your special place, add beads and extra stitchery, this is a perfect slow stitching project.
