Lazy Days Block of the month (BOM) quilt, by Michaela Smith
Build this stunning quilt month by month and you will end up with a quilt approx. 60" square, we haven't used borders on our quilt. In each instalment you will receive the wool fabric and instructions to make one 20" square block. The programme delivers the fabrics for the quilt top only.
The quilt builds simply block by block. If you have basic knowledge of patchwork and quilting you should find this quilt easy to make.

Each block is a mixture of simple piecing and applique on a British wildlife theme.
Block one has a toadstool applique block.
Block two has a red squirrel applique block.
Block three has more toadstools this time with the addition of a hedgehog.
Block four has a pair of appliquéd wrens.
Block five is the centre block with landscape and lollipop flowers.
Block six is a blackbird applique.
Block seven has a hare applique.
Block eight has a rabbit applique.
Block nine has a fox applique.

The quilt top is made from fabulous British Wool Tweed.

To enable you to make this quilt at your own pace, rather than waiting for each new month, or being rushed when you want to take your time. You will order the rows from our website as you go. At the time of your first order we will cut and pack all the instalments for your quilt and they will be put away for you, this may mean you have a slight delay o receiving your first block whiclt we prepare all your blocks.
Each time you are ready for the next block, purchase it from our website using the same item as today, simply writing in the comments section which block you want and we will send it out to you.

Please note there may be some slight fabric changes to the original, as fabrics become discontinued. The replacements are as close as we can get to the originals and will not spoil the integrity of the quilt.
Apologies regarding the full quilt photo, it is short of a few applique details, rest assured your fabric pack will have everything you need to complete the block. New photo will be uploaded in due course.
