Beautiful 16" finished wool tweed cushion. What can be more fitting than a basket of fruit at autumn, or in the fall?
Perfect for anytime of the year, this cushion really comes into its own during the harvest festival and thanksgiving season. The basket of fruit can be made using the fusible web method of appliqué although we made ours using the Bosal In-R-form technique which we have been developing. The basket contains a pumpkin, cherries, grapes, pear, apple and plums with elegant ears of wheat stitched onto the background.
Our still life could be added to many projects, so think outside the box.
This sewing pattern is very simple to make.
