Blossom Hill, Row by Row, Japanese Themed Quilt, Block of the month Quilt.

Product Code: 00701
Blossom Hill, Row by Row, Japanese Themed, Block of the Month Quilt Kit, By Quilting Antics. This stylised view of the Japanese empire is both fascinating and compelling, whilst being romantic and delightful.
Blossom Hill is probably one of the simplest quilts we have ever made as it is almost exclusively appliquéd using the fusible web method of raw edged appliqué.
Illustrated by Sue Lenehan, who has perfectly scaled the traditional Japanese houses to look as though they are climbing a hill. A perfect landscape quilt which arguably is also a perfect beginners quilt too.
The quilt is made from wool tweed which adds a richness to the design, apart from being a wonderfully easy fabric to work with, the wool we use is from the Abraham Moon Woollen Mill, in Yorkshire. If you have never worked with wool before you will be an instant convert as Abraham Moon Wool really is top quality wool tweed, a very forgiving fabric to work with, which is a sneaky added bonus.
Block of the month is an eight part plan which allows you to build the quilt in a 'bite sized' way, so that it isn't too overwhelming either on your brain or your purse. Once you have subscribed here and purchased block 1 we will contact you in order to organise payment for the rest or the quilt.
Block of the Month provides all the fabric for the front of the quilt, including borders and gold for the windows. Additional requirements are wadding, backing, binding, fusible web and thread.
The pattern is included with the fabric.
