The most sumptuous fabric advent calendar I have ever seen! Made using patchwork and applique techniques there are pockets hidden everywhere for you to put surprises in and what's more you will get it out year after year to reuse. Michaela has combined cotton and wool tweed fabric perfectly giving a rich and luxurious feel to this spectacular advent calendar. Advent calendars are an essential item in the run up to Christmas and once the bug day arrives Christmas is Coming will serve as a Christmas wall hanging too, yippee!
Whilst I can't dent there is a fair amount of stitching involved in this project it is straightforward easy sewing, so even beginners should be able to manage this fabric advent calendar.
This option is for the sewing pattern, if you want the tweeds to get the same effect as us there is a Christmas is Coming Tweed Pack available which also includes the sewing pattern, we supply the 'hard to get' wool tweed in the right colours and just the right amounts, then you delve into your stash and pick out all your favourite cotton fabrics to make the rest.
