Designed of the style of a Dresden plate quilt block to coordinate with the Christmas is Coming advent calendar this fabulous, yet very easy to make, Christmas tree skirt is made in small sections which could be either quilted as you go or done in one whole piece.

Michaela has combined cotton and wool tweed fabric perfectly giving a rich and luxurious feel to this spectacular tree skirt. To give you an idea of size, I set my circular tree skirt on a 1 metre square piece of backing.
We have embellished our tree skirt with wool tweed from Abraham Moon, which sets the skirt off a treat.
